This training focuses on "how" to teach individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Take your teaching to the next level! The majority of this training is hands-on learning!!
Participants will learn "how" to effectively teach skills to individuals using applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Individual IEP and ELP (or current planning tool) goals and objectives will be broken down into "how" to teach and "how"
to incorporate into functional activities across the day. Many suggestions of functional activities will be given out
at the training.
You will learn how to:
- Use ABA to teach skills to your students
- Teach skills within functional lessons
- Create data sheets to track progress
- Collect and average data
You will practice all of the strategies so that you can ask questions during the training!
Bring your IEP goals/objectives to the training, and we will brainstorm functional activities, role-play
teaching strategies, create data sheets, and collect and average data.
